Project Management Professional (PMP) Preparation
OneStopProject has a well written book that embodies all the topics that will be addressed on the preparation course. The course can be taken in a conventional classroom environment online. The objectives of both courses are the same. This is an intensive course that will prepare future PMPs to take and pass the PMP certification exams. To take the exams, one has to meet the PMI PMP exams prerequisites that can be located at pmi.org.
Requirements to take the PMP exams
- 7500 hours of project management experience for a period of sixty months, if you do not have a degree.
- 4500 hours of project management experience for a period of over thirty-six hours for a degree holder. Minimum of 35 hours of project management classroom/eLearning training instructions.
- Complete and submit the PMP certification application directly to PMI.
To be awarded the PMP certification, you must pass the 4-hour computer-based 200-question exam. Passing the PMP exams it attests to one’s core knowledge and understanding of critical project management concepts, principles and techniques. The PMP credential sets individual project managers apart from the project managers without the credentials in the world.
